It was my first pregnancy, and I was both excited and nervous when I went for a ultrasound – a procedure that allows the doctor to observe the developing baby on a video-desplay scree. As the Ob-Gyn moved the scanning instrument over my protruding abdomen, I looked over at the screen and saw the movement of a small, rounded shape. “Isn’t that the most beautiful baby you’ve ever seen?” I said.
“Madam,” the Oby-Gyn replied, “That’s your bladder.”
