9.20am – take off flat tyre and replace spare tyre. adjust jack for height so that tyre could lining up the wheel holes. success!
9.25am – trying tighten up all nut.. Then fatty arrived…

Influenza test taken by SQ at Gleneagle Paed Specialist Clinic cost RM330.00 for rapid test and RM100.00 for gomen’s H1N1 test, if rapid test show positive then they will send the sample to gomen for H1N1 test directly. Accurate percentage will be 95% and above.  Result will be ready at 2 hours for rapid influenza test and 1 to 2 weeks for H1N1 test. Doctor collect the resulting fluid (saline and mucus) from nose.

SQ result show positive. Dc put her on 7 days Tamiflu (Cost RM220.00 for 7 days supply)

Influenza test taken by Kiki at Gleneagle A & E Deaprtment cost  RM313.00, which is RM195 for rapid test and 120+ for consultation fees. Accurate percentage will be around 70% – 95%. Result ready at 1 – 2 hours (I got Kiki’s result less than 1 hour!) . Doctor collect the resulting fluid from Mouth.

Kiki result show negative. But doctor advices to take Tamiflu also because she already have sympton (fever) and exposed to SQ.
After check with SQ’s paed, he told me it is wasted time and money to do the test for Kiki, usually in once happen in a family, the others will get the virus also. So, if any members got sympton already then can take tamiflu straightly.

My Q & A about H1N1

How do we know we if infected ler?
SQ’s Paed said adults will get infected also but if no high fever / coughing serious / sore throat (either 2 of them) then no need to take tamiflu and just take medicine like normal flu will do.

Sign & Symptons of moderate to severe influenza (Adopted from http://h1n2.moh.gov.my)

  1. Respiratory difficulty : shortness of breath, rapid breathing or purple or blue discoloration of lips
  2. Coughing out blood or blood streaked sputem.
  3. Persistent chest pains
  4. Persistent diarrhoea and/or vomiting
  5. Fever persisting beyong 3 days or recurring after 3 days (SQ only have this!!)
  6. Abnormal behaviour, confusion, less responsive, convulsion
  7. Dizzliness when standing and/ or reduced urine production.

I read from newspaper cakap if someone taken tamiflu with no H1N1 infected, then tamiflu would not work if she/he really infected next time.
SQ’s paed told me NO SUCH THING! It just like other antibiotic will work the same if you infected again.

Then, I finally get the answer of if already infected H1N1 will get infected again?
SQ’s Paed said probably no. It just like chicken box will infected once only.

Added : 23.08.2009
I also read children will have side effects if consume Tamilflu.
SQ’s Paed said patient must consume according to doctor instruction. Consume quantity and period is depends on individual weight. Usually no side effect for people follow instruction as Tamilfu is just another type of antibiotic.

My personal Thought :

If gomen not allow private clinic or hospital to do the rapid test and give tamiflu directly. SQ and Kiki won’t know they got infected also and will just treat as normal fever and flu. Lucky SQ manage to recover from the fever if not I could not imagine further liao. Seem like we could only WAIT and WAIT until SQ half die – fever not drop + coughing seriously + sore throat + breathing difficulty then so call gomen baru test for her and that might be too late to take tamiflu.

I am sad to see some of the H1N1 dead cases happen might because of no place to get help and not because of no medication to cure.

I just know that the fund withdrawn from Paypal To Citibank Credit Card are using reversed code which would be treat as payment return from merchant. That mean, bank would not take it as Payment and it will deduct your reward points too.

If you are transferring PayPal payment to your credit card account, then you better check it out. Lucky I call up Citibank and check with them, they manage to manually claim back my reward points and waived the late payment charges for me. But it look very hassle and don’t know worth or not if I continue transfer Paypal Fund to Credit Card Account. Mai macam all the money I spend has no reward point earn lor?

I wonder why all the Card customer services from Public Bank Berhad are given me different answer for my same question.

I have been calling the card customer services to request for my debit card 2 weeks after I received my card. One said the pin number have to wait 2 – 3 weeks to arrived. One said have to wait 3 – 4 weeks time. Is ok..I am no problem to wait for 4 weeks time.

Last week, I called the Customer services again. A lady told me that my card is in the queue now and the pin number will be issue in last week and arrive me on coming week. OK! Fine! I wait for another 1 more week.

Today, I called the customer services again to check the status. Do you know what they told me?!! They told me that the pin number has been sent out on the 31st october 2007 which 2 weeks after I received the card! Where is the pin number now?

PIN NUMBER LOST in post cannot reissue again!! Which they have to reissue a new card for me, which mean I have to wait for 1 week to get the NEW CARD and then another 2 – 4 weeks for the PIN NUMBER!!

What mean me angry is WHY THEY DIDN’T HAVE THE SAME ANSWER?!!

Why could they track from the system??? Are they work in individual?? the system is individual which is not connect and simply give customer answer???

WHY DO THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT FOR SUCH LONG AND SAID HAVEN’T BEEN ISSUE THE PIN NUMBER YET??!!

Do you have Citibank Credit Card and Housing loan account? If you have then this post might able to help you withdrawn your Paypal money to housing loan indirectly. I have called up Citibank to check with them if I continue to transfer Paypal money to Credit Card account, what should I do with the excess payment.

If you call Credit Card Department, then they will told nothing can help but withdraw the money through cash withdraw, which is pay the 5% charges. You can forget about this lah..too expensive to withdraw like this.

Loan Department – If you have credit balance in your credit card account, which meant all your balance is settle (included those unbill transaction), then you can request for manual transfer the excess payment to your home loan account without charges.
I’m not sure could this done with Citibank Saving or current account or not, because I don’t have and cannot test also.

Anyway, it is a good method for me to save the money for settle my home loan. I will try to settle all the credit card balance first, then request for transfer to my loan account. Will update more if when I done it.

I noticed that was a RM1.00 charged in my Al Rajhi account after I added it into my paypal account.

I remembered long time ago when I added my VMI card into paypal account. It show will have 2 small amount appear in the bank account which need to verify that the bank account is belonging to me. But due to VMI just a virtual account which can’t add fund into paypal account, so it doesn’t have the 2 small amount appear in VMI account and I can only use it to withdraw but not add fund.

Since now first amount charged by paypal have been appear in Al Rajhi Bank Account, so I assumed that this card can be use to add fund to paypal account as well. Chooi Peng has checked with bank, according to her the payment will be refund later. Let’s wait and see how.

I’m really don’t know much about shopping tips, because I seldom shopping.

~ Start copy ~

It’s very simple. When you receive this tag, copy the whole list and add your own shopping tip to the bottom and pass it on.

1. Wear comfy clothing when you’re shopping. You don’t wanna fuss with too many laces and buttons when you’re trying clothes on. http://rinnah-marketplace.blogspot.com/

2. Choose stores offering some kind of reward program, e.g. purchase points, rebates or store coupons. Knowing how the program works and when to use them will save you a lot of money in the long run. http://kakishopping.giddytigers.com/

3. When buying pants or jeans, try to try them on with a pair of heels so you know its the right length. If you don’t and wear it with heels later, you might find that it hangs at an awkward length. http://www.all-aboutshopping.com/

4. We are always lure to buy the latest lipstick colour in town. Before you respond to magazine’s review and recommendation, make sure you try on the colour and walk around for a while before deciding to purchase it. Lipstick colour looks different when it’s absorbed on the lips and lightings can alter the way you look too. This will avoid buying a lipstick that doesn’t look so great on you afterall http://www.dorisgoshopping.com/

5. Don’t buy bras just before your period! I have big boobs just before period and the boobs deflated after my period, making the bra looks ‘unfull-filled’ Same thing with buying shoes in the evening. Your feet are bigger in the evening. Women Only!

6. If you’re planning to buy heels, avoid wearing sports shoes or covered shoes. You’ll spend more time removing and putting them back on everytime you try on a new pair of heels. Sasha’s TagsnSuch

7. Always request for a new piece on items like cloth, bag or shoe to avoid in getting them in condition like broken, loose, stain or loose parts with many tried from different people. If you like the piece very much happen to be last pair then you got to check really carefully. Lemonjude – Memoirs.:*CRoSs mY hEARt*:.

8. Remember keep the receipts for what you have bought for few days. You can change the size, colours or other stuffs if you feel it’s not suitable for you after back home. Lovelymummy

9. Exchange your Jusco point to Jusco voucher, spend it at Jusco and earn the point again! Apply the same to Bonuslink point and Parkson! :) Chooi Peng’s Blog

10. Don’t try more than 2 different type of perfumes at the same time. The smell will mix up. Advice to walk around for at least 10 – 20 minutes before decide what perfume to buy, because some perfumes take time to truly develop. SYH‘s Hobbies Galore

11. When come to buy innerwear, you can save cost with buy the not new release designs. usually you can save at least 30% if compare with new release price. ~ msaufong.
