BitterGourd Fried Egg

Ingredients

Bitter gourd
Egg
Salt

1st - Bitter gourd cut into slice & marinated with salt for 10 mins

2nd - Egg (no need I tell u what to do guaa?? hehe)

3rd - Stir-fry bitter gourd for a while without oil

4th - Add Oil & continue stir-fry

5th - Arrange bitter gourd nicely & add in agg, let it cook..

6th - turn it back & cook til golden color..Then

7th - Add soy sauce & decorate with Chinese celery to serves..hehe..of coz without it is ok lah..Just for sake of taken photo mah…:p

I doens’t like to eat bitter gourd actually…too bitter for me…haha…But with this (marinated with salt b4 cook)..the taste still acceptable lah….no more bitter mah…

    not that bitter edy then its not bitter gourd liao lo …

    u can even cut thin thin slices and put into a batter and deep fry it, very crispy and nice wan … or do it like the Indians, slice thinly, put salt, then deep fry until brown and crispy, DAMN NICE I TELL YOU!!!

    earl-ku, yalah..I know..many ppl told me like tat..but I just kenot tahan mah…hehe….I’m kenot makan pahit punya orang mah…:tongue:

    Crispy better gourd no bitter kah? really? hehe…like tat will try it liao..

    I love bittergourd. You did it so nicely, like a pancake. Usually, I will just scramble them together. Will try your method the next time!

    U may cook this dish in soup too if u like. Just fried “jiang yu chai” w garlic till brown, then add in water and boil for 10 mins. After tht, take out those “jiang yu chai”. Then, put in bittergourd fried eggs, sesame oil and chinese “hua diao” wine and boil a while will do. Very nice soup!

    since u may accept bittergourd fried eggs, there should be ok for u for the soup too.

    P/S: For lesses bitter of bittergourd, “yan” bittergourd w salt before u cook. (I think u should know abt it too, :) )
