Stir-Fry Flowering Chives
Ingredients : -
Meat (Chop well)
Carrot (Cut into 2 inch Length)
Flowering Chives (cut into 2 Inch Length)
Garlic (Slice/ Chop well)
Soy Sauce
Oyster Sauce
Corn Powder

1st - Carrot & FLowering Chives cut into 2 Inch length.

2nd ~ Stir-fry Meat with garlic & oil.

3rd ~ Add in carrot when meat was 70% cook…

4th~ then add in flowering Chives ..

5th ~ Mix soy sauce with oyster sauce, corn powder & alittle bit water..

6th ~ Add mixed sauce at last ..& quick stir-fry..

Ready to serves.
This a chewy dish.. and u will surprise how sweet is the flowering chives..I swear I didn’t add any sugar..:lol:

I’ve only seen / eaten chives when used as a garnish (like in mee siam), not as an ingredient in a dish. This dish looks colorful!
My mom would ask me to season pork with salt, pepper and corn flour first. She said the corn flour helps to ’seal in the pork juice’.
simcooks, this chives is different from the wan we used as garnish ler…its more chewy..hmm..I trying to search pic for u later…
