‘Lazy’ Soy Sauce Chicken
Ingredients :
Chicken
Soy Sauce
Ginger (few slice)
Garlic
Corn Flour
Wonder Why I call this ‘Lazy’ Soy Sauce Chicken? because it cook by a lazy mama..:p ..Just kidding..I used to cook this meal after the day of BaiBai (sembahyang / pray). Chinese used to pray with steamed chicken. Especially Chinese New Year..Too many steamed chicken to serves..

1st ~ Cut the whole chicken into small pieces and in mixed sauce (I do this overnight, save time :p)
Mixed Sauce - soy sauce + water + sugar + slice ginger + onion. taste it before marinate the chicken.

2nd ~ took out from refrigerant on the next day and boil directly for 10 - 20 minutes.

3rd ~ Fried garlic (chop well) until it turns brown and ready to use, remember don’t burn it.

4th ~Prepare the sauce. Take some portion of sauce that you marinated chicken and cook.

5th ~ mix corn flour with water.

6th~ Add in the sauce and stirred often unti the sauce become thicker. Then add in the dried garlic JUST before serving. Otherwise it will soften the crispy garlic.

7th ~ Place the chcken on place (you can serves with or without the original marinated suace), I prefer leave a little bit sauce on the plate. And serves the Garlic mixed sauce.
See..Is this meal easy to make? suitable for lazy mama like me, right?
I think the only problem is the garlic..the more the better..I chop the garlic until hand ‘cramp’ . Not advice to use blended due to the texture different when taste. It taste better with ‘handmade’ ..haha
