I agree with this posting in that this form of education would be the most beneficial option to the prospective student. What is most impressive to me, is the technology that has allowed schools to operate entirely online (University of Phoenix, etc.). They have found a way to appeal to most career-oriented people by allowing them to complete courses “on their own timetable.”
The only significant downfall to this type of education, in my opinion, is that you are missing the social element of the education process. I think that this interaction is sometimes crucial to overall learning. I guess this shows that technology might not have the answer to every human need.
