Egg In A Pot
Ingredients:
1 whole egg
heavy cream
0.5 oz ham, sliced in small strips
0.5 oz grated cheddar
any (fresh) herbs to taste
salt
pepper
1tsp olive oil
How to Prepare:
- grease an ovenproof ramekin with the olive oil.
- Carefully break the egg into the ramekin, taking care not to break the yoke.
- add the ham and cheese and any herbs if you want.
- Top up with the heavy cream to about a third of an inch below the rim of the ramekin.
- Bake in a preheated oven of 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
- Very good with celery sticks to dip in the egg!!!
