Cheap Seafood At Kota Kinabalu

I tried many yummy food in my Kota Kinabalu Trip.  The Gayang Seafood Restaurant is a good place for cheap seafood. Our first dinner was there and it only cost us $140 for 6 adults and 4 children. It is cheap if compare to the last night we have the Kota Kinabalu City.

I can’t really remember all the seafood price, but I recall the prawn selling at Gayang Seafood Restaurant is about $80 per kilo while the prawn selling in Kota Kinabalu city is $100!

The Most Simple Nasi Lemak

This is the most simple Nasi Lemak I could get at anythime and anywhere.  I mean in my working area, i could just go to either mama stall or Malay stall to buy it. One pack is cost about RM1.00 and one is just not enough for me. I usually need at least 2 packs and it only just nice for my breakfast.

Just a simple Nasi Lemak with sambal, boiled egg, ikan bilis and peanut. This already a great breakfast to start my day in office.

Sea Grapes

I so keen to find the weird seaweed on my Kota Kinabalu Trip, but I could not get one even thought I already search and ask people at everywhere in Kota Kinabalu that I visited. I thought I could easily find the SeaGrapes in Kota Kinabalu, however, it just not as easy as I think. I don’t even have chance to hear it’s name. I only bring it’s photo to search in Kota Kinabalu ( I didn’t know what its name until back from KK).

Anyone taste it before? Is it taste good? Or taste terrible? :p

Expensive Kobe Beef

I heard CP talk about the food in Japan. She said the Kobe Beef in Osaka, Japan are the best food she ever tasted. I saw the picture she thought at her blog, I don’t know how tasty is it as I never try it before. However, I am kind of curious is it worth to pay the US$30 for these few pieces of Kobe Beef? It make me more curious and wish to try it!
