Instant Satay And Peanut Sauce

I have this homemade Satay on last weekend, it took more then 2 hours to ready it. Oh..my..I thought it should be very fast, because I’m using instant Satay Sauce and Satay Marinate pack! But I was totally wrong..I took 1 hour just to prepared the Satay Sauce! Terrible hor? Anyway the taste are acceptable..hehe..why I said like that? Because I spoiled the Satay meat. I don’t know how to use microwave! Shame to say I’m seldom cooking with microwave, I use wok and pot most of the time. :p

Last Day For Yee Sang


Today is the last day of Chinese New Year. And I’m going to share with you all this dish that is a must on our CNY day!

I bought this from Amway, see..nowadays all kind of food can get in instant type. Event this Yee Sang..:lol:

You get all ready to serves of Red ginger, white ginger, cucumer, papaya, onion, yam, peanut, sesame, crispy cracks, pepperand yee Sang Sauce in the package.

CNY Special - Lai Mei Sei Pow (腊味四宝)

Ingredients :

Arrowhead 芽菇(nga ku)/茨菇(chee ku)
Preserved Duck Drumstick (Lap Ngap Bei)
Chinese Meat Sausage (Lap Cheong)
Chinese Pork liver Sausage (Yong Cheong)
Chinese Dried Meat (Lap Bing)

1st ~ Cut Arrowhead into slice and place equally on the plate.

2nd ~ Steam Arrowhead for 2 - 3 minutes.

3rd ~ Then add in Chinese Meat Sausage, Chinese Pork liver Sausage & Chinese Dried Meat on the top.

4th ~ I tried to avoid too oily on this dish. The best way was separate the preserved duck.

5th ~ Steam about 5 - 10 minutes. And cut all dried meat into small pieces.

We having this 4 different type of lap mei every year. When I was I love to eat this with plain rice which mix with water. Same like what I have on salted Kampung Fish. I’m still prefer this way to enjoy this Chinese New Year until Now. :lol:

All ingredients tat you think can cook in soup..just grab it & throw into steamboat.. all kind of fish ball, tohu, wantan, mushroom, dried tohu, crab stick, seaweed, egg, chicken, beef, fish & etcs…countless food u have enjoy here…

Lantern Festival - MoonCake


Is time to back home enjoy mooncake! Altho after tat weight increase at least 2kg …but once in a year..ok lah!! I will just ignore my weigh scale for 2 months lor…:lol:

Homemake Chinese Rice Wine (Confinement Recipe)

Ingredients :

6 Kilo Glutinous Rice
18 pcs small wine biscuit (chao ban 酒餅)
some water (about 150ml)

1st ~ Cook all the Glutinous Rice with rice cooker, we cook 3 - 4 time to finish whole 6 Kilo…(remember to cook at night, coz need to wait those rice getting cold)

2nd ~ Get ready the wine biscuit, compress into powder form…

Steamed Yam Cake (Wu Tou Kow)

Ingredients

Yam

dried shrimp

onion

salt

five spice powder

Blended rice flour

Brown bean Sauce

1st ~ Fried yam with oil, dried shrimp, onion, salt & five spice powder.

2nd ~ Mixed 500gm (1 bag) Blended rice flour with 1.5ml water (1 mineral water bottle).. 3rd ~ stir until all flour mixed.
